Our Story & Mission
From Kerala to the World:
Built by cubers, for cubers.
Founded in 2018, Mcubes started with a clear mission: make world-class speedcubing gear accessible, affordable, and supported by a real community. Today, we power over 1.3 million cubers globally.
The Journey of Mcubes
In 2018, speedcubing in India was booming, but getting hold of modern magnetic cubes was an uphill battle. Enthusiasts faced weeks of overseas shipping, unpredictable customs duties, and zero after-sales support. We knew the community deserved better.
Mcubes began in Alappuzha, Kerala as a homegrown initiative. We stocked genuine puzzles, tested factory tensions, formulated high-performance lubricants, and shipped orders within hours. The response from Indian cubers was overwhelming — what started as a regional passion quickly grew into India's leading cubing platform at themcubes.in.
As our community expanded beyond borders, we realized speedcubers everywhere faced similar hurdles: fragmented learning resources and a lack of dedicated competitive online platforms. That sparked the evolution of the full Mcubes organization — combining global retail stores, competitive esports arenas on mcubesarena.com, and structured education under one roof.

Evolution Timeline
Key Milestones
How a regional initiative in Kerala transformed into an international cubing ecosystem.

Mcubes India (themcubes.in) Expansion
Became the premier destination for competitive speedcubers across India. Formed official direct relationships with global manufacturers (GAN, MoYu, QiYi, DaYan), providing pan-India 2–5 day delivery directly from our Kerala warehouse.
Going Global: Mcubes Global Cube Store (themcubes.com)
Launched international operations to deliver flagship puzzles and accessories worldwide, establishing fulfillment logistics in North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, and Australia.
Mcubes Arena & Mcubes Learning (1.3M+ Cubers)
Crossed 1,300,000+ speedcubes delivered worldwide. Launched Mcubes Arena (mcubesarena.com) for real-time 1v1 PvP solve battles and tournament timers, alongside Mcubes Learning to mentor the next generation of WCA champions.
